Who are we?

Westfield Church is an Anglican (Church of England) church within the Diocese of Chichester

Our church, like any church, consists of the people who belong to it. We are a friendly and welcoming congregation, who aim to make any visitors feel at home in our worship and in our social activities. We have a loop for the hard-of-hearing, and provide large print service sheets for most services.

The church represents the spiritual heart of the parish, representing the community to God and God to the community. We try to express the love and concern of God for everyone in all that we do, and in our worship and prayers we aim to bring people’s concerns, both local and universal, before God for his healing. We believe that Jesus Christ is a unique way into God’s presence, and that the Holy Spirit is working in us and in all the world to bring about God’s purposes.
