Traditional Worship

About Our Worship

We have a wide range of Sunday services so there is usually something during the day to appeal to everyone. Those who are not familiar with Church of England worship will probably find that one of the all-age services (Family Service or Nine Thirty Start) will be the easiest to follow. People who are used to modern Anglican worship will appreciate the Parish Eucharist, while those of more traditional taste will find they are catered for at the Prayer Book services.

Sundays

Sunday Services following the Traditional Church of England worship are provided every Sunday at 8.00am and on the second Sunday of the month at 10.30 am with Matins.

8-00       Prayer Book Communion (Traditional)
10.30     Matins (second Sunday of month only)

Wednesdays

9.30       Midweek Communion (Traditional)

There is no music at Sunday 8.00 am or at Midweek Communion.  The All-age and Family services are accompanied by our small band, and the organ is played at other services.
